Nursery Managers - Emma Lloyd & Louise Jones
This branch is currently working towards the ‘Curiosity Approach’ which provides endless opportunities for children to develop their curiosity, awe and wonder in a calm and natural environment. We discourage bright colourful walls and excessive plastic furniture and instead we aim to create ‘a home from home’ environment to create a tranquil learning environment.
Our baby room is an open plan room that can be divided to accommodate up to 9 babies between the ages of 3 months to 2 years. There is also a separate sleep area and nappy changing area. Our specially designed baby unit is fully equipped with a wide range of stimulating toys and play materials
Our Tweenie room accommodates 16 children aged 2-3 years and we find that children initially spend time gaining confidence and developing their newly acquired skills when they enter the Tweenie room. Children then quickly want to explore their new-found skills of mobility, dexterity and speech
A variety of opportunities await the children in this room, including experimenting with play dough, sand play and water play as well as developing their imagination in our role play area
Our preschool room accommodates 16 children aged 3-4 years and the ethos in this room is very much on children making choices and experimenting to develop and learn new skills. Our preschool staff have a wealth of experience to support children in developing their natural curiosity and have a very ‘hands on’ approach to learning which enables children to explore a variety of different experiences.
